Nearly five and a half thousand species of mammal have been recorded on our beautiful planet and I've been lucky enough to have seen a small handful in their natural environment. Spending time with the animals we share a taxonomic class with is an absolute privilege and I'm pleased to share my experiences through my photography.

Birds are one of my favourite subjects. The beauty of bird photography is that it can be practiced just about anywhere. From bustling city streets to serene national parks, our avian friends are all around us.

Contrary to popular belief, the UK is absolutely teeming with wildlife. As a native Brit, it fills me with great pleasure to capture images of my homeland's beautiful flora and fauna.

The Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village (ASYV) is a residential community in rural Rwanda. Its 144 acres are home to youth orphaned during and after the Genocide of 1994. Designed to heal and nurture these young people, the Village is a place of hope, where "tears are dried" (signified by the Kinyarwanda word "agahozo") and students can live in peace (from the Hebrew "shalom").
